Santa Cruz de Tenerife is the city on the island of Tenerife, the Spanish island on the Atlantic Ocean. The island is the largest of all Canary Islands. In Santa Cruz de Tenerife there are a refinery and harbor – an important import/export center. Auditorio de Tenerife is the most recognizable building of the city – it is a modern futuristic concert hall completed in 2003. The city makes most of its profits from tourism and for that reason it is designed with the view to support relaxation and entertainment. A tourist may find there numerous promenades, bulwarks and walking paths, which are surrounded by greenery. Close to the harbor there is a pedestrian zone, from which there is a beautiful view of the coast.
