The history of railway goes back to antiquity and horse-drawn vehicles that glided in the grooves of stone slabs. In the late Middle Ages, wooden rails were used to transport heavy loads. The first railway line in Poland was established in 1842 between Wrocław and Oława. Until today, it is a very popular means of transport. Not only people who do not own a car decide to take a train, but also those who take care of the comfort of travelling, during which you can take a nap, read a book or use a laptop.
