Pasta with broccoli
Broccoli is a vegetable that belongs to the cabbage family, originating from the regions of the Mediterranean Sea, which was already eaten in the ancient times. It is healthy, cheap and commonly available – it can be either fresh, frozen or as an ingredient of vegetable mixes. It contains quite a lot of vitamins and mineral salts. Due to its nice, dark green color and decorative flower heads, it is popular among those who attach importance to attractive and aesthetic look of the dish. Broccoli is often served with pasta, as it goes well with sauces based on cheese and sour cream. In the dietetic version one may eat only steamed vegetables, which accompanied by pasta of good quality and a few drops of olive oil will be also very tasty.
