Patuxai (Laos)
Patuxau (Victory Gate) is a triumphal arch in the city of Vientiane. The construction of the monument was finished in 1968. It commemorates those who fought for Laos independence. Vientiane is the capital of Laos. The city is located by the Mekong river, just by the Thailand border.
