Procida is a small Italian island located on the Gulf of Naples, at the south-western coast of Italy. It belongs to the Archipelago of the Flegrean Islands, which are not as popular as nearby Capri, but still can be considered as one of the most beautiful corners of that part of Europe. Procida is the second largest island of the archipelago. There is a town of the same name on the island and it can be considered as one of the most colorful in the whole of Italy. The houses, which were built in a cascaded manner on the slopes descending gently towards the turquoise waters of the sea, are kept in beautiful pastel shades, creating an unforgettable composition. The colorful panorama of Procida is a landmark of the whole archipelago.
