Flowers that have a few colors at the same time and look as if a rainbow was enchanted in their petals have been named “Happy Flowers”. The Dutch gardener Peter van de Werken was the initiator of such a solution. In the face of the crisis on the market of chrysanthemums he decided to create a new attractive product. The first “Happy Flowers” were presented in 2007 at the Aalsmeer Market exhibition in Amsterdam and these were chrysanthemums. However, it soon turned out that other types of flowers are suitable for artificial dying, and it comes as no surprise that among the most popular ones there are timeless roses. Werken produces them in cooperation with the Danish gardening company and distributes them in Western Europe under the name “Happy Roses”.
