Spices
Spices are made from plants whose dried and powdered parts – such as fruit or roots – have a very distinct aroma and thanks to that they complement the taste of dishes we prepare. Some of them, apart from their taste, stand out in terms of their unique shape, color or texture. Turmeric has a beautiful yellow color, saffron is intensely red, green cardamom seeds and star anise are characteristic in shape, whereas juniper berries are in the form of black wrinkled beads.
