Blekinge is one of the administrative regions and a former historical province in southern Sweden. This area is characterized by a warm climate and post-glacial terrain relief. Skerries, i.e. small, rocky islets, as well as numerous rivers, streams and moraine lakes surrounded by dense forest are particularly noteworthy. For these reasons, the region of Blekinge is often visited by anglers. They have campsites, cottages for rent and boat hire facilities at their disposal. There are trout, perch, pike and salmon living in the local waters.
