The most important objects and at the same time the main symbols of Sydney are the Sydney Opera House built by Jørn Utzona, the old town called Rocks, a large botanical garden and a modern commercial centre with high skyscrapers (on the highest of them - the Sydney Tower - there is a viewing platform, from which the city’s panorama might be admired). Sydney's centre is accessible through the famous Harbour Bridge, which is 1149 m. The bridge is known for the annual fireworks show celebrating New Year as well as for climbing on the crown of the arch, which is organized by a specialized company and is very popular among tourists.
