Landscape of Tanzania
Landscape of Tanzania, the country which is located in Eastern Africa is very diverse. The greater part of the country is occupied by the vast Unyamwezi Plateau (height up to 1500 m), which is sliced by the graben belonging to the system of the Great African Graben. Within the limits of these graben large mountain massifs are towering, mostly volcanic ones, e.g. the Kilimanjaro. In the northern part of the country there are large lakes - Lakes Victoria and Tanganyika. Beautiful Tanzanian landscapes provide the country with a significant income from tourism.
