Three Crowns (Poland)

The mountain range called Pieniny is located in the south of Poland, in Małopolska Province, on the border with Slovakia. The Three Crowns Massif, the highest summit of which has the same name, forms the part of the Central Pieniny Massif. Three Crowns reaches the height of 982 meters and its unique shape is the most characteristic feature of the landscape of the Pieniny Mountains. The summit consists of five sharp peaks, on top of Okrąglica – the highest of them – there is a viewing platform, which overlooks the Dunajec River Gorge. Three Crowns can be reached by hiking trails of varying difficulty.
