Torres del Paine is a mountain massif located in Patagonia, geographical region in the southern part of South America. Torres del Paine consists of the three highly elevated rocky formations that resemble towers, reaching almost 2.500 meters above the sea level. Due to abundance of fauna and flora, the area surrounding the massif is protected within the boundaries of the national park, which has been designated a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. Nevertheless, the park is accessible for tourists, who are attracted by one of the world’s most famous trekking trail. The trail is over 100 kilometers long and is not very difficult, tourists hiking along it may experience unforgettable views.
