Tulips
There are 120 species and 15 000 varieties of tulips. Different species of tulips have been mixed to gain new varieties since ages. They are frequently given names of famous people. Tulip flowers respond to temperature changes, they unfold, bloom when the temperature rises, and when it gets too cold for them they close-up.
