Tower of London
The Tower of London is a complex of buildings built within heavily fortified walls and surrounded by a now dry moat. Parts of the Tower date back to Norman times. Now mainly a tourist attaction housing the Crown Jewels, the tower has been a fortified castle, a royal palace and a prison.
