Port in Vancouver (Canada)
Vancouver, as well as all other cities on the coast of the Pacific Ocean, used to be a small harbor from which whalers set sail. The city started growing rapidly when the railway was built in 1885 and it connected Vancouver with Montreal. The city grew larger and larger and became the most important port of Canada on the Pacific Ocean coast.
