Veliko Tarnovo (Bulgaria)

The view on the Yantra river flowing through Veliko Tarnovo. Veliko Tarnovo (Велико Търново) is the city in norhern part of Bulgaria, at the foot of Stara Planina. Veliko Tarnovo was the third capital of Bulgaria. It is one of the oldest cities in this country. There is also one of the most important universities of Bulgaria - St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo.
