Braunwald is an alpine village located in eastern Switzerland, it is surrounded by rocky peaks and dense forests. It is dominated by traditional buildings – wooden houses are scattered among hills, with a winding road between them. The village is a popular resort, from which you can go hiking or take a cable car to ride to higher parts of the mountains. Tourists choose Braunwald primarily due to the fact that there is no traffic in the village, which ensures silence and clean air free from pollution. In order to get to Braunwald tourists should take a train and leave a car in a huge parking lot at the railway station in a nearby town.
