North Yorkshire is a county in north-east of England. The picturesque village of Sandsend is located in this county, near the town of Whitby. There are charming beaches situated on the green coast of the North Sea. The village has preserved its old-fashioned climate thanks to traditional cottages, which are partially used by tourists. These old rural cottages present the rustic style only from outside. The interiors of these restored barns and granaries are often equipped with Jacuzzi and many other facilities. Tourists visiting Sandsend may admire beautiful landscape, do water sports in the bay, spend time on the beach or walk in the neighborhood. Near the village there are romantic ruins of the Benedictine abbey in Whitby.
