Red rocks that one may see in the picture are located by the beach in Arbatax, the waterfront of Tortoli in Sardinia. One of the most important ports of the eastern island coast is located here. Numerous tourists arrive to Tortoli just to see characteristic rocks of Martian color. The rocks consist of porphyry, magma volcanic rock, from which the unique color comes from.
