Windmill on the graduation tower (Poland)

Windmills on graduation towers in Ciechocinek were used in the past to power brine pumps. Today the role of windmills has been taken over by the electric pumps. However, it is worth knowing that the construction of the graduation tower began in 1824. At that time the experiments that led to the invention of an electric engine or a bulb had already begun. The Ciechocinek graduation towers are the largest wooden construction to concentrate salt in Europe.
