Zabecko Lake located in the Pirin National Park in Bulgaria is counted among the glacial lakes. The glacial lakes are created due to melting of glaciers and this is why the glacial erratics are the inseparable elements of the glacial lakes landscape. The Pirin mountain range that surrounds the lake (the Hvoinat summit is visible in the background) creates an amazing atmosphere of this place. The name of the mountain range is derived from the name of Perun, the mightiest of the Slavic gods.
