Plitvice Lakes National Park is considered to be one of the most beautiful places in Croatia. Sixteen karst lakes with turquoise water are located near the Bosnian border. Among the lakes there is a characteristic system of wooden footbridges built on lime dikes. Visitors may move around in accordance with the map that is printed on tickets.
