Minster Lovell is a lovely English village located in Oxfordshire on the River Windrush. Along the river valley there are stone thatched houses, which are surrounded by little gardens. There are the 15th century ruins of the Lovell family manor in the village. The place is connected with some local legends, according to which some parts of the residence were haunted by the ghosts of the former residents. In the village we may also see historic St. Kenelm’s Church with the graveyard. While visiting the older part of the village it is easy to imagine that we went back in time at least a few centuries.
