In the Polish village of Niedzica-Zamek, which is located in Lesser Poland Voivodeship, there is the medieval Hungarian fortress. The fortress is located on a rock on Lake Czorsztyn and dates back to the 14th century. Dunajec Castle was built on the initiative of Rykolf Berzeviczy. It has been well-preserved to this day, so we can admire the castle complex with a tower, fortified walls, a chapel, a residential part and a courtyard with a deep well. According to the legend, the Incas treasures are hidden in the stronghold. Today Dunajec serves the function of a museum, there is also a hotel and a restaurant.
