Central Park is located in the heart of New York's Island of Manhattan. Therefore, the 341-hectare urban park serves as an oasis of greenery and a place of rest for busy New Yorkers. Central Park was designed by Frederic Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux. To this day, the crowns of park trees and vast expanses of green turf contrast with the Manhattan houses and skyscrapers. In autumn the impression is even more powerful thanks to the changing colors of leaves.
