Philadelphia is located in the US state of Pennsylvania, the city was the first capital of the United States. The city's development was largely influenced by the activity of Benjamin Franklin – one of the Founding Fathers. A representative boulevard of Benjamin Franklin Parkway, which runs between the City Hall and Philadelphia Museum of Art, was named to commemorate this politician. The most important historic monuments and cultural institutions of the city are located in the vicinity of the boulevard. From the boulevard tourists can also admire the highest building in Philadelphia – the Comcast Center. The well-maintained parkway is decorated by alleys with trees, lawns and fountains.
