Cathedral of Our Dear Lady in Munich is the main temple of the city, erected in 15th century in late-gothic style. It is located in the Old Town, near the famous Marienplatz. The cathedral, which was built on the plan of a cross, is a perfect reference point due to its two characteristic towers. Each of these towers is 99 meters high and is surmounted by a Renaissance bulbous copula. There are viewing points on the highest floors, from which it is possible to admire the panorama of Munich and the nearest city’s surroundings.
