Rice is one of the most commonly used food products in the world. It is easy to digest, nutritious and does not contain any allergens, e.g. gluten, thanks to which it may be used both in the diet of slimming people, as well as sportsmen and even children. Rice boiled in water or milk is an excellent base for dry and sweet dishes. Mixed with yogurt, nuts and fruit, it can replace the morning portion of muesli or oatmeal. It goes well with caramelized apple sprinkled with cinnamon and sweetened with a bit of honey.
