Superfood is a group of food products that have a beneficial effect on our health. These include olives, Goji berries, chia seeds, Jerusalem artichoke and ginger. According to dieticians, they provide the body with necessary doses of vitamins and minerals, nourish the skin and hair, improve body’s immune system, enhance heart and even reduce the risk of cancer. Among Polish products that are considered superfood there are millet groats, kale, linseed, cranberry, sea-buckthorn and honey.
