Easter is a moveable feast the date of which is determined in accordance with the lunar calendar, not the solar one. Despite the moveable dates, Easter always falls on spring. For that reason it is associated with new life and everything that it symbolizes. Greenery, spring flowers, eggs and rabbits or hares are not strictly related to the religious tradition, however, they are the first images that come to the minds of many Christians whenever Easter is mentioned.
