Gerbera is the most popular flowers from the Asteraceae family, which comes from Africa and Asia. Most often it is yellow, however, it is possible to come across other colors: red, white, orange or pink. There are over a thousand species of gerberas known in the world, although only a small part of them is grown on a large scale. In Poland gerberas are most often used for wedding bunches. It is characteristic for them that they close at night and in the morning they open again.
