The outskirts of the Sahara desert were inhabited by nomadic peoples – those who change a place of stay depending on weather, water and food accessibility as well as pastures for their cattle. Tuareg people are one of such peoples who were the first brave enough to cross the Sahara from east to west. In the past they bred animals and led caravans. Today they work as guides of desert trips.
