Narew is the river flowing through the north-eastern part of Poland. However, its source is located in Belarus, in the Białowieża Forest. There are the number of towns situated on the river, among them Łomża, Ostrołęka, Pułtusk and Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki. In Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki the river debouches into the Vistula River, the largest river of Poland. There is Narew Commune in Podlaskie Voivodeship, whereas 30 km west of Białystok there is the Narew National Park, the sanctuary of virgin nature. The river landscapes can be admired e.g. during canoeing.
