Republic of Philippines is an Asian island country located in the Pacific Ocean. In the Philippine province of Palawan there is an island of the same name, which has a characteristic very elongated shape. In the close vicinity of the island there are smaller islands belonging to the Calamian Archipelago, among them there is a picturesque island of Busuanga. The coast of the island is a paradise for enthusiasts of diving – there are well-preserved Japanese shipwrecks from World War II near the island, today they are also surrounded by a coral reef. Coron is the biggest town of the island. Apart from shipwreck diving the residents of the island offer rides on boats on the breathtaking bay and a rest on paradise sandy beaches.
