Fox is a beautiful beast of prey of the Canidae family, characterized by wonderful, thick fur. The most common species of fox is the red fox with a distinctive, fluffy tail. These animals have extremely sensitive hearing. They feed mainly on small predators, birds, rabbits, fish and berries. Fox needs approximately eight hours of sleep, which makes that animal similar to human beings. This red predator can be found in the Tatras and Podhale. Due to the prevalence of vaccination against rabies, the population of foxes has increased in recent years.
