Cold winter and snow-covered streets should not discourage us from hiking. Thanks to energetic marches, we will improve resilience and strengthen our muscles, including the most important one, that is the heart. Fresh, cool air helps to oxygenate the brain, whereas a daily dose of movement will fight winter humps. Regular winter walks will also help us stay fit and control our weight, so we will not have to worry about our fitness during the summer. The snow swathing roofs, tree crowns and park alleys affects positively our mood, soothes the nerves and allows people to relax.
