Rysy is a peak located in the High Tatras on the Polish-Slovak border. It has three peaks: two of them (the highest and the lowest) are on the Slovak side, while the medium one is the highest point in Poland (2499 m above sea level). <br />
Two routes lead to Rysy: simpler on the Slovak side and more difficult on the Polish side. The trail from the Polish side starts from the Czarny Staw. It leads through shady places with snow all year round, small streams formed by melting snow, and steep entrances secured with chains.
