The history of trousers dates back to the beginning of our era, however, they initially looked like pantyhose as they also covered feet. Then hoses were introduced that enshrouded each leg separately, without being sewn together – they were attached to a belt like stockings. Trousers reaching waist could also consist of unassembled front and rear parts. For centuries, this lower part of the outfit changed its length and cut depending on the needs of everyday life and fashion. In the middle of the 19th century Levi Strauss designed jeans, which were to be a part of working clothes. Jeans were also meant to guarantee resistance to damage and convenience. Shortly afterwards jeans conquered the world. Today the so called drainpipes, i.e. tight denim jeans with added stretch are one of the most popular designs, they are manufactured in various colors.
