Hel is a small town at the easternmost tip of the Hel Peninsula. There are a war port, fishing harbor, marina and a bathing beach. The marina in Hel is equipped with floating bridges where crafts up to eleven meters long may be moored, as well as berths in the yacht basin. On one of the breakwaters there is a slightly controversial landmark of the town: Hel’s Egg, i.e. a circular building erected in 2006, which houses tourist information. Hel offers many attractions to tourists, there are the Fisheries Museum, seal sanctuary, lighthouse and of course beautiful sandy beaches.
