Zumbahua is an Andean town located in the province of Cotopaxi, in the central part of Ecuador. The place is rarely visited by tourists, thanks to which it retained its authentic atmosphere. Zumbahua lies on the road known as the Quilotoa Loop, which connects the neighboring towns. There are many volcanoes, craters, and lagoons in the area. Zumbahua organizes a market attracting buyers and sellers from all over the area. Among them are Indians carrying their goods on mules and lamas. People can also get to the town by bus or a rented pickup.
