Khachapuri is a dish of traditional Georgian cuisine, which occurs in several varieties. The basis of this dish is a wheat cake with stuffing. In some regions it is prepared from two pancakes filled with cheese and spices, meat or vegetables can also be added to it. In a different version of the khachapuri, dough forms a characteristic bowl resembling the shape of a boat and it is filled with minced meat, eggplant and of course cheese.
