Bow Lake in the Rocky Mountains (Canada) online puzzle
There are four National Parks located in the province of Alberta: Jasper, Kootenay, Yoho and Banff. The Parks were declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1984 and are the biggest attraction of the Canadian part of the Rocky Mountains. There are hot springs, impressive snow-covered peaks and postglacial lakes. Bow Lake is one of them – it is located in the Banff National Park. Mountain peaks reflect in its sky-blue water and the picturesque area attracts thousands of tourists at any time of the year. While driving along Icefields Parkway (Highway 93) it is worth stopping for a moment in order to see Bow Lake as well as Peyto Lake, which is also spectacular.
