Lough Tay (Ireland) online puzzle
Lake Tay (Lough Tay) is located in the east of Ireland in the Wicklow Mountains. The lake is rarely called by its official name, its colloquial name – Lake Guinness – is much more popular. There are as many as two reasons why the people of Ireland call it in such a way. Firstly, the lake and the adjacent area are owned by the Guinness family. Secondly, depending on the season of the year the lake becomes brown, contrasting with the white sand of the artificial beach at the northern shore of the reservoir. When it is seen from the vantage point the oblong lake resembles a glass of dark beer with white froth – it looks like a favorite drink of the Irish.
