Seoul is the capital of South Korea located on the Han River. The double-deck Banpo Bridge is one of the landmarks of the city and since September 2009 the bridge has had a unique decoration, the so-called Rainbow Fountain. This Guinness Book of Records design incorporates pumps, nozzles and LED lights that take water directly from the river, so it is environmentally friendly. These beautifully illuminated streams move to the rhythm of music, creating an extraordinary spectacle. In fact, there are many different shows, because the fountain is programmed for a hundred shows a day. The breathtaking bridge spans the Seocho and Yongsan districts.
