The island of Poros belongs to the Saronic Islands, it lies in the Aegean Sea in the Greek region of Attica. The larger part of the island's population lives in the small town adjacent to the port. Dynamically developing tourist infrastructure did not deprive Poros of the unique atmosphere of a small fishing village. Narrow, stone streets, historic houses with colorful shutters and roofs covered with traditional tiles, as well as intimate squares, where owners of restaurants place modest tables and chairs still prevail in the town landscape over luxury hotels and nightclubs.
