Edible products for decorating cakes, muffins, ice-cream and other desserts usually occur in the form of small colored beads, sticks and confetti, i.e. flat stars and hearts. Sugar sprinkles do not usually have any special taste qualities, they only serve an ornamental function. They give the sweets an attractive appearance, which is why they are an inseparable ingredient of sweets for children’s parties and special events. Sprinkles look nice on smooth glaze of a contrasting color.
