Colorful, soft candies in the shape of lovely beans, i.e. jelly beans, are a well-known delicacy, especially among children and adolescents. They consist mainly of sugar, glucose syrup, dyes and aromas, as well as glazing agents that provide sweets with a suitable, slightly gelatinous consistency. A few years ago, special mixes of jelly beans were popular, in which, apart from the standard, usually fruity sweets, one could find flavors such as vomit, dog food or toothpaste.
