The Dolomites are a mountain range located in the northern part of Italy. Mount Lagazuoi is located in the Dolomites, during the First World War it was the place of fighting between the Italian and Austrian troops. Lagazuoi lies at an altitude of 2778 meters above sea level and is a popular destination for enthusiasts of mountain climbing. From the top of Lagazuoi, which is accessible by cable car, visitors may admire breathtaking views of the Dolomites. There is also a mountain chalet.
