White Sands National Monument is the national park located in the state of New Mexico, USA. Its name originates from the main attraction of the area, which are the deserts composed of white sand. This sand is in constant movement and due to it wonderful dunes, hills and valleys are created. White Sands is a perfect place for everyone, who is interested in amazing natural attractions, but also for flora lovers – there are various rare plants growing nearby, e.g. yucca.
