Oriental spices - oregano, basil, curry, curcuma, coriander, cardamom and others - are important ingredients in the cuisines of the East. They have been known in Europe for long, however, if it comes to everyday usage they have been used only for a few decades. Oriental spices have many advantages - not only do they make dishes taste more distinctively and enrich aromas, but also, served in the right quantities, they have therapeutic qualities.
